How to Compare Solar Installers in Malappuram

Why Malappuram homeowners are evaluating solar

Many Malappuram homes have usable rooftop space and steadily rising electricity use from air-conditioning, appliances, work-from-home devices, and water pumps. Solar can reduce bills, but the system has to be sized from real consumption instead of a generic package.

Solwiz Energy serves Malappuram as part of its wider Malabar network and is one of the installers you may evaluate. See our solar installers in Malappuram page for our service scope. This guide is not an independent ranking of local companies.

What to ask before choosing an installer

Ask for a roof survey, bill review, component list, expected generation, warranty details, net-metering support, and subsidy process explanation. If the company only shares a kW price without explaining what is included, you may be comparing incomplete quotes.

On-grid, hybrid, or battery-ready?

On-grid solar is usually the simplest choice when bill savings are the main goal. Hybrid solar makes sense when selected loads need backup. A battery-ready design can keep future upgrades easier.

Subsidy guidance

Eligible residential customers can apply through the current rooftop solar subsidy process. The installer should explain documents, compliant components, inspection, commissioning, and expected timeline. Final approval is controlled by scheme and DISCOM rules.

A local service mindset

After installation, you still need cleaning guidance, monitoring awareness, and support if generation drops. A nearby team can make the ownership experience calmer.

Handover evidence to request

Before final payment, ask for monitoring access, commissioned settings where appropriate, module and inverter serial records, applicable warranty documents, the approved single-line diagram or project records, and a clear support contact. Keep these records with the quotation and payment documents.
